Advanced Soldering Workstation

There is 1 advanced soldering bench available in PR_B502. Like the regular benches, it has a Hakko FX-971 soldering station and iron. It is also height-adjustable, .

This bench also has a Rigol DP831 Linear DC Power Supply, a Rigol DM3058E Bench Multimeter, and a Rigol MSO5072 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope.

Please only use this bench if you need to: either to use the specialist equipment (oscilloscope, desoldering gun), or for the height-adjustment.

Safety

The soldering benches are operated by a timer switch. In order to use any soldering eqiupment, you MUST have completed a manatory online induction.

The advanced bench also has several pieces of equipment that require further inductions:

• In order to use the Rigol DP831 Linear DC Power Supply, you must have attended one of the in-person Beginner Electronics Bench inductions.
• In order to use the Hakko FR-810B Rework station you must have attended one of the in-person Beginner Electronics Bench inductions.
• In order to use the Rigol MSO5072 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope you must have attended the in-person Advanced Electronics Bench induction.
