Trigonometry
Trigonometry is an area of maths that is all to do with triangles and the relationship between their side lengths and angles.
Radians
Radians are a unit of angular measurement, similar to degrees and is the unit generally used within trig. A full circle, 360 degrees, is equal to 2π radians.

Notation
NOTE: in the above equation, there is a dot between two sections of the equation. This is a multiplication symbol and is exactly the same as when you see an 'x'. The reason we use this is because when you are doing alegebra, x is commonly used as a generic variable so to stop confucion, the dot is normally used.
