How to book Nerve Lab

Nerve Lab supports R&D projects from both UAL and industry partners. As our equipment is highly specialized and valuable, we require users to provide some basic information before access. We review requests by event or research project. Once your request is approved, you’ll be able to use the equipment and spaces you applied for.

Space Booking

  • Complete the Lab Usage Request Form. It will be reviewed and approved by the Nerve Lab Committee.
  • Please check the CELCAT for availability before filling out the form.
  • If you have any additional requirements, please raise them at least one week before the booking date/event. Otherwise, the technical team cannot guarantee that your request will be delivered.

Equipment booking

  • For the first-time access, please complete the Lab Usage Request Form
  • Once your form is approved, book an induction with the technician
  • For further booking on the same project/event, please book the equipment on the Orb
