Assembly and Prototyping Workstation
There are 3 assembly and prototyping workstations in PR_B502. These do not have soldering equipment, but do have a full set of hand tools, measurement tools, tweezers, screwdrivers, and more space to assemble and test projects. These are useful for breadboarding, or mounting and assembling completed boards.
Additional prototyping tools, such as alternative wire strippers, JST connector crimpers and a wider range of screwdrivers are available within the space.
Safety
-
Glasses should be worn when using the side cutters, or any other process that might throw out pieces of material.
-
Every workstation will also have a Rigol DP711 DC Power Supply. In order to use this piece of equipment, you must have attended one of the in-person Beginner Electronics Bench inductions (you must complete the mandatory soldering induction first).
