Using the Brother Innovis A150 Sewing Machine

The CCI has a digital sewing machine, in addition to a digital embroidery machine. This machine is for manual use, and is operated using a pedal.

Currently, this machine does not require an induction, however, if you have not used a sewing machine before and would like some guidance, talk to Agnes Cameron or Rosie Walker about using it. You are also welcome to show other students how to use this machine.

As this is a computerised sewing machine, a number of special decorative stitches are available, in addition to the regular range of stitches.

Hand sewing equipment is also available! Please do not leave needles loose on the bench, any broken needles should be placed in the sharps bin.
