How do I get a static IP, or DHCP reservation?

Wherever possible this should be avoided, please see information about how to get your current IP here.

If necessary you can raise a general ticket with the MAC address and building you are going to be working in, and IT can create a DHCP reservation which means your device will always get the same IP address.

The best way to do this is email servicedesk@arts.ac.uk with the same MAC address, and let them know you are using UAL-IoT in Peckham Road/Greencoat/High Holborn/Eagle Wharf (The Hub).

Be aware that this DHCP reservation will not work in other buildings due to how the UAL network is designed, so you will need to change this before an exhibition.
